The accompanying envelope is addressed to Nasir al-Mulk, the governor of Kurdistan.

Letter by Mahdi Ibn ‘Abd al-‘Ali [probably Muntasir Lashkar] in two parts, announcing that all the legal and military titles and positions belonging to the deceased ‘Amid Lashkar have been granted to his son, Mirza Abu Turab Khan, and the writer has been granted the title and position of Sar Rishtah Dar [the pay master]. The second part of the letter is addressed to the writer's sister, expressing sorrow and condolensces about 'Amid Lashkar's death.

Ghulam Husayn Khan Sardar Mujallal, son of Haj Sulayman Khan Bihjat al-Dawlah, has transferred his properties near Kirman and Bam to Mirza Husayn Khan Sardar Nusrat, son of Murtaza Quli Khan Vakil al-Mulk, in exchange for some crystal candy.
